Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

Day1: Day 01: Leh Airport to Sham Valley (70 Kms / 3-4 hrs)

Upon your arrival at Leh airport, you will be transferred to Sham Valley, passing through picturesque villages along the Indus River. Check in to your reserved accommodation upon arrival and spend the day resting. Overnight stay in Sham.

Day2: Sham – Leh (70 Kms | 3-4 hrs approx.)

After breakfast, drive back to Leh, making stops at Alchi Monastery, Sangam, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, and the Hall of Fame. Arrive in Leh by the afternoon. In the evening, explore Shanti Stupa and Leh Market. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day3: Leh - Nubra Valley (128 Kms | 4-5 hrs approx.)

After breakfast, journey to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (the Highest Motorable road in the world at 18,380 ft). Take short breaks at roadside cafes and scenic points for photography. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel/camp/guest house. Post lunch, enjoy a camel safari featuring double-humped camels unique to Ladakh and Mongolia at the Sand Dunes between Deskit & Hundur Village. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

Day4: Hunder -Turtuk- Thang– Hunter (190 Kms |6-7 hrs approx.)

After breakfast, drive to Thang (the last village of India on the India-Pakistan border). Enroute, visit Turtuk and Tyakshi. Thang was captured by the Indian Army in the 1971 war with Pakistan. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

Day5: Nubra - Pangong Lake via Shyok river road (150 Kms | 6-7 Hrs approx.)

After breakfast, embark on a drive to Pangong Lake at 14,500 ft, a journey of 6 – 7 hours. Upon arrival at the camp, enjoy leisure time and witness the color-changing lake and the sunset on its banks. Overnight stay at Pangong Lake.

Day6: Pangong Lake – Leh (140 Kms | 4-5 hrs approx.)

Early morning, capture the picturesque sunrise over the lake. After breakfast, drive back to Leh, with stops at Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace en route. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day7: Leh Airport Departure (4 Kms | 15 minutes approx.)

In the early morning, transfer to Leh airport for your flight back to your destination. The journey concludes.

Take this tour! Its fantastic!

Great for 4-5 hours to explore. Really a lot to see and tons of photo spots. Even have a passport for you to collect all the stamps as a souvenir. Must see for a Harry Potter fan.
